I have nothing but good things to say about this desk. It was easy and quick to put together. Accomodates laptop or small PC (love the flipdown drawer for keyboard) leaving enough room for writing surface. Great for small home office. Very elegant look.

Needed a desk for laptop/home office work in a small sitting area off bedroom. This was perfect. Very happy with purchase. Exact same desk was over $100 more at furniture store which also required an additional $90 to deliver. This was a great bargain. Knobs weren't my favorite but were easily changed out.

Magnussen's motto is "exceeding expectations" and they certainly did it on this one. I was really nervous about buying such an inexpensive piece of furniture. When it arrived I was extremely pleased with the ease of assembly and the georgeous finish on the desk. The finish is what you would expect on furniture costing three times as much. WOW. HIGHLY recommended!!!
The center drawer at 19.25 wide and 13.25 deep is large enough to fit a good sized laptop even with wires plugged in on both sides. And there is a flat piece of wood that fits on the top of the right or left hand drawer for your mouse pad. Clever design.
Just know that it is a rather small desk that looks really beautiful--not a regular bulky desk with lots of storage space. However, its appearance is worth the inconvenience of having to file things elsewhere!

Everything about this desk is perfect for a home office and/or an office
nook in the home. The only drawback at all is the finish color. I wish
there were options - like cherry or walnut finish color. Other than that,
this is the perfect little writing desk.

when i searched online i found this desk the minute i saw it i said perfect this is nice cause i needed to downgrade to a smaller desk and needed to change the color got new bedroom furniture thats dark oak cherry and this was color perfect it was easy to put together all you do is put the legs up thats all[...] the only thing is i had to get a new desk chair without arm rest so it fits under the desk but it was a good choice i made, it also looks very nice love the color and the style classic but moderned also "love it"

We use this as a combo writing/laptop desk. For the most part it is wonderful. The only caveat is that we wish the center drawer was about 6"- 8" wider as the vast majority of laptop connections are on the side.
